Another great post by Mark Graban showing how easily Lean applies in restaurants;
I don’t find many examples exist for the restaurant industry.
For every person who’s heard - or said:
- “you know how it goes”
- “be more careful”
- “they need to pay attention”
- “how many times have I heard that”
- “I’ve said that a thousand times”
- “we keep bringing it up”
- “they keep making the same mistake”
- “it’s not that I haven’t tried”
- “I already suggested that before, nothing happened”
- “(add yours here…)”
If everyone who’s experienced this ‘likes’ Mark’s write up (on linkedin), and more people read it, it may reach a few managers who think twice and make an impact – and they could post what different action they took under this comment:
